For those who bank with Macquarie Bank, you will know they are rolling out a new bank system on the 20th May, 2023.

For Macquarie Bank users, there are a few things to note before the rollover to the new system.

Here is a checklist of things you need to do.

1. Authorise any pending payments or tasks by 6.30pm (Sydney time) the day before you move.

2. Cancel any payments in Active Banking that we can’t move for you. Macquarie Bank WILL be moving:

    • transaction history
    • account statements
    • audit history
    • saved payees
    • authorised one-off, recurring, or future-dated payments (single funds transfer or BPAY®)

Macquarie Bank will NOT be moving:

    • unauthorised one-off, recurring, or future dated Page 3 of 3 payments (single funds transfer or BPAY®)
    • ABA files with a payment date after Monday 22 May 2023
    • bulk BPAY® files with a payment date after Monday 22 May 2023
    • all one-off, recurring, or future-dated payments set up using a group payment template

3. Save all your regular payees to your saved payees list (including any payees that you use in your group payment templates).

4. Make a record of any group payment templates you currently use so you can set them up again in MBO.
