The Dream Team Bond

At the heart of the Dream Team is not just a dynamic working trio but a strong and lasting friendship. Each member of the team brings their unique flair that balance one another out and have grown the company to where it is today.

The growth was instant. From a sole trader in March 2012 to a Company in July 2012. Jerome joined the team in 2016 along with a Junior admin. Tracy joined the team part-time in December 2016 and from here we carried on as a small and dynamic team.

Fast forward to 2018.

During one of Jane’s Trust Accounting courses, she met Jo. Jo was in retail and beauty and was seeking a change. She was studying at ACOP to be a Real Estate Agent so what better way to crack the industry than to join the EOMA team. There she started back in 2018 and we just celebrated her 3rd year anniversary.

Jo is our go-to person for support blocks and all things regarding rent adjustments. Or as we like to say, our Rent Adjustment Angel.

May 2018 was a big month.

After swearing they would never have children, except for the 4 miniature poodles, in April 2018, Jane and Jerome welcomed baby Marley into our lives.

Plus, our English Rose Susan joined the team in the bookkeeping arm. We all soon realised this wasn’t her calling – yet Trust Accounting was.

Fun fact about Susan. She finished her Real Estate licence quicker than anyone in the office.

Boom.

Change Was in the Air

In 2017 we decided to change the way we worked.

Jerome, abreast of all new developments in the tech world, decided we would no longer support desktop or server-based software.

So June 2017 was filled with weekends spent in the office transitioning every client from desktop and server-based software to the cloud.

We welcomed them all to the 21st century and in the process, enabled our business to grow substantially, now offering even more services including:

  • Bookkeeping, staff management, taxes,
  • Fully outsourced Trust Accounting
  • Training
  • Rent Roll Broking
  • Invoice Management.
  • Reconciliations
  • Migrations
  • Workflow & best practice

plus the addition of ongoing support blocks in all of the above areas.

So by 2018, six years on from conception, we had a staff of 6 and a client base in most states of Australia. Now, not only did we specialise in fully outsourced Trust Management, we had expanded into a BAS Agency and expanded our general accounting services.

While the world shut down due to the biggest pandemic of our lives in 2019, we managed to not only keep the doors open, but help many agencies move from server-based software into the cloud.

In 2020 we also had the pleasure of hiring Alex. Little did you know Tracy actually interviewed Alex in a pub 2 years prior, but it wasn’t the right time. As all things come in good time, Alex will be celebrating this year with his wedding to the lovely Juliette and 12 months with the team.

Not only that, we welcome little Baby Stevie our 2IC into the world in November.

Still growing as our business needs demand, we put the call out and hired Colette in 2021. Colette has 20 years’ experience in Real Estate and loves to camp with her four boys.

Yep, crazy lady isn’t she.
