Time to shine the spotlight on Jerome

Jerome was born in Mauritius and moved to Australia with his family in 1984 where he studied electrical engineering at TAFE.

So how did he get to Trust Management you ask?

Jerome started out as a junior electrical technical at North Supply. In Tracy’s words, he fixed shit and designed circuitry and onsight installations.

While working there he satisfied his love of music working as a Studio Manager in a recording studio. Unbeknownst to him, he began building his foundation in project management, as he moved through a variety of careers from DJ’ing at weddings, engagements and in the clubs, web design, computer sales and Account Managing 100+ stores for a national computer company for 9 years.

Until he moved on to Folks where he worked alongside our beloved Tracy.

With years of IT experience under his belt, Jerome started in Sales and quickly moved into Project Management at Folks, working with many large Australian publishing companies. He navigated his way through software implementation and building the robust knowledge of workflows and software solutions that lead EOMA today.

After 3 years at Folks and with End of Month Angels growing, Jerome said goodbye to his work wife and went to help his actual wife grow the business.

Now, where did this leave Tracy?

Tracy started working in an office in the early 2000s as a secretary for a jewellery importer. After 4 years she went on to work as an Office Manager for a Graphic Design company. Whilst there, she found her love for accounting, projects and costings.

After 4 years she entered the design field for Crawford Architects where she kickstarted her Cert IV in Bookkeeping in her thirties. To finish the trifecta, she fell pregnant. Once her daughter Pearly was born, Tracy left Crawford Architects and completed both her Cert IV in Financial Services & Diploma in Accounting. All within 6 months with an 11-month-old baby in tow and no support.

Can I hear a boo-yah.

After a couple of interesting, ‘let’s not pay our employees’ jobs, Tracy started working part-time at Creative Folks as Accounts & Office Manager.

Tracy being Tracy, she quickly found all the mistakes, how to fix them, and streamline processes to help the business run smoother and keep people accountable.

While at Folks, she met her work husband Jerome.

A strong bond developed over utilising their skills to help the business grow. While there, Tracy also worked as Finance Manager for one of Australia’s leading rug importers which lead her to nail the Australian & Singapore Operations Manager role.

Tracy was happy as a girl could be working alongside Jerome. But alas, after 6 months solo, she felt lost without her husband. After 5 years left Folks, she too hung up her hat and joined the EOMA team to help boss Jane and Jerome around and spend all their money.

She continued outsourcing to both Folks and the rug importer, as true to her word, Tracy never burns bridges. Folks continue to be our go-to for all of our IT.

The seeds have been sown. What does the team do next?
